Remedy's Guide To Camp Like A Champ!

Remedy's Guide To Camp Like A Champ!

Ah, the great outdoors! There's nothing quite like escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life to spend quality time with ol’ Mother Nature. But before you head off on your Easter camping adventure, you must ensure you have all the necessary gear. And let's not forget one crucial item that can make or break your outdoor experience – the Remedy Drinks!

1. Gimme Shelter

First things first, you'll need a sturdy, decent-quality tent to keep you safe and dry during your camping trip. It sounds basic, but we, like many, have been tempted by the cheap $20 tents, thinking, ‘She’ll be right. ' Unfortunately, it turns out they’re often cheap for a reason, and she won’t be right. Nobody wants to wake up in the middle of the night with a tent collapsing on top of them! If there is any small, unexpected gust of wind, your tent might also be halfway down the camping grounds.

2. Food & The “Snack Captain”

Food is a quintessential part of the camping experience. We recommend designating a Snack Captain, who oversees and is in charge of stocking up on the all-important snacks for the trip. Never underestimate how many snacks you will need.

Don't forget to pack your camping stove, pots and pans, utensils, and plenty of marshmallows for roasting. Damper might be tempting to make, especially if you’re a dad, but please, a dough that is both burnt and raw simultaneously is not enjoyable for anyone. Your kids especially.

3. Fill Up The Esky

Nothing complements a cosy campfire like a crisp, refreshing drink! Make sure you’re all stocked up with water and your favourite Remedy bevvies like Remedy Kombucha, Sodaly and some cans of KICK for the morning. If you're a light sleeper, you might also want to consider bringing some Remedy Sleep Shots for those nights your neighbours carry on the karaoke until the early morn.

3. Clothing

If you’re camping down under, you’re going to have to prepare for unpredictable weather conditions. You never know if you’re going to be sweating profusely, shivering in the rain, or both! A warm jacket, waterproof pants, and sturdy boots for hiking are all must-haves for any camping trip (and no, thongs don’t count as hiking boots, but you might still want to bring them for the showers - nobody wants to go home with more than they came with).

4. First Aid & Esssentials

Accidents can happen. Actually, accidents pretty much always happen. Be sure to pack a well-stocked first aid kit with essentials like band-aids, antiseptic wipes, and pain killers in case an accident happens. Make sure you remember the hand sanitiser, tissues, paper towel and bog rolls. Trust us, you’re gonna need them too.

5. Entertainment

It's time to kick back and relax when the sun goes down. Bring a deck of cards, a Bluetooth speaker and a good playlist. If you’re looking at that dusty guitar in the corner of your room, you can only play one song on and think that it would be good to bring, don’t. Nothing ruins a camp vibe more than ‘Smoke on the Water’ played badly on repeat.

So there you have it – a comprehensive list of camping essentials. With the right gear, ice cold bevvies and a positive attitude, your camping trip can only be a fun one.
